Dr. Xiaonian Xu is Honorary Professor at CEIBS, where he served as Professor of Economics and Finance from 2004 to 2018. Lina Xie was one of the founders of China Sinda.  She holds the position of vice president and vice Chairman of the Board of the firm.  It is the second time she has set up an intellectual property firm in her career as an IP law practitioner in China. She was one of the founders of the NTD Patent and Trademark Agency Ltd. which was set up in 1987, wherein she held the position of manager of the Application Department at the Hong Kong Headquarters.  Ms. Xie handled a large number of patent and trademark application cases, including the first Taiwan patent applications filed in mainland China in 1990.  She received her advanced training in Canada and later worked for a Canadian patent law firm in Toronto in 1992.

Victor Qiang Wang is the co-founder of ZhenFund and leads portfolio management for ZhenFund companies. Victor also leads and oversees the Ostrich Club, a collaboration between ZhenFund and Sequoia Capital China. 

Prior to ZhenFund, Victor was a co-founder of New Oriental Education & Technology Group (NYSE: EDU), the largest provider of private education in China. Before starting New Oriental, Victor also worked as a Software Engineer in Bell Communications Research. Mr. Huang is the Chairman and CEO of CloudMinds, and had previously served as senior VP and CTO of UTStarcom, GM of China Mobile Research Institute, Dean and Professor of school of Electronic Information and Communication of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Mr. Huang currently also serves as deputy Director of China Cloud Computing Committee, council of China Electronics Association, and member of Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Expert Advisory Committee.

Mr. Huang has extensive experience and insights in the fields of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, robotic intelligence control, optical access network system, streaming tech., soft-switch, mobile Internet and smart terminal, and is an expert in cutting-edge technology with global influence. Joe Wong started performing standup comedy in the Boston area in 2002. He contemplated quitting standup comedy and focusing on his day job as a scientist. Besides his love for the language art, another motivation for Joe to perform standup comedy is to expose mainstream America and Chinese audiences to the lives of immigrants and their adventures in crossing cultural boundaries.

Joe published his autobiography in China in 2011 and was interviewed by famous Chinese talk show hosts such as Cui Yongyuan, Yang Lan, Chai Jing and Luyu. He frequently travels to China to perform on TV and live shows. He is undoubtedly the premiere Chinese American standup comedian.

Mr. Huang founded 4stones Cross-Cultural Development Co. Ltd, which is the first cross-cultural management firm in China. As a management consultant, Mr. Huang has worked with numerous large Chinese national corporations such as Kunming Pharmaceutical Group, Kelon, Nanfu Battery, and China Life Insurance, as well as MNCs including SPX, Telkom Indonesia, Fujitsu, and Phillips Medical System. Jay Huang is founder & partner of Jadestone Venture was Managing Director at Intel China. Mr. Huang joined Intel (China) Ltd in May 2008 and has been responsible for managing Government Affairs, Standards and Service Provider groups. Prior to joining Intel, Mr. Huang was Vice President of Nortel Greater China and then Vice President of Nortel Asia. Sherry Hao is the member in both CICPA and AICPA. She worked in KPMG New York office as an auditor from 1985 to 1987. She rejoined KPMG Los Angles in 1993 after she completed her MBA program in Temple University, Philadelphia. Sherry took a secondment in KPMG London office in 1997 and repositioned to KPMG Beijing in 1999. She gained tremendous audit and industry experiences through assisting clients in a variety of sectors, especially financial sevice sector. Sherry Hao taught in Renmin University of China before starting her career with KPMG. She also served as the Financial Controller for a large internet company.

Mr. Mark J. H. Han is the chairman of Dachan Food (Asia) Limited, which is one of the leading animal protein product producers and suppliers in the PRC.In 2009, Mr. Han was elected to be the president of Alxa SEE Ecological Association (SEE), which is the first non-governmental organization in the PRC to advocate earth ecology. Previously Mr. Han was the president of the DaChan Great Wall Group, a public company listed in the Taiwan Stock Exchange. It has over 50 years of history, which is regarded as the second largest food company in Taiwan.

Mr. Han has 14 years of investment experience. Before co-founding Yao Capital, Mr. Han was the Chief Investment Officer of Wanda Group, responsible for several landmark deals in the sports industry, including the buy-out of Infront Sports & Media and World Triathlon Corporation, and investment in LeSports. Mr. Yanding Gao is the CEO and founder of Yanding US-China, a Beijing-based private company that specializes in providing educational consulting services and a variety of classes for students who plan to attend high schools, colleges, and graduate programs in the United States. As a leading expert in overseas education, he is the author of several best-selling books on education, including Educational Strategies-Mapping Your Career in America. He is also a Standing Committee Member of the CCG, and a member of the 2005 Committee, an organization of top level celebrities and distinguished individuals who have studied or worked abroad in the United States.

Gao Xiaosong has been popular within China’s entertainment sector since 1994. In addition to being a famous songwriter, music producer, film director and talk show host, Gao also previously founded and run several music labels and production houses. He had also held positions with a few major Internet companies before he joined Alibaba Music Group in 2015.

As an international young violinist, Mr. Gao has cooperated with many world professional orchestras; in 2009 he was invited to performed as the soloist with Houston Symphony Orchestra; in 2008 he played with St. Carlo Opera Orchestra with his honor in Naples, Italy, which is the first opera house in the history of Europe              Mr. Gao is currently both teaching at the College-Conservatory of Music to the University of Cincinnati, in U.S.A; and the Central Conservatory of Music in China. Deng Yaping was an Olympic champion and Grand Slam winner of Chinese women's table tennis team. Now she is the founder of Deng Yaping Sports Industry Investment Fund.

She has won 18 World Championships in her 14 years of sports career. She has been ranked first in the world for eight consecutive years and the longest female player in the history of table tennis.

Dai Yuqiang is a prestigious and famous tenor in China. His voice led Luciano Pavarotti to bring him to his home in Pesaro, Italy, as his first and only Chinese student. Tibor Rudas, the man who invented the Three Tenors, higly appreciated his voice. He made his Covent Garden debut in Puccini’s Tosca. To coincide with that debut, EMI has issued his first recital album, recorded in London in October of 2001. 

Grace Cheng advises clients on senior-level assignments across industries and geographies and leads operations for Greater China for Russell Reynolds Associates, splitting her time between Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. She has conducted assignments for companies headquartered in mainland China and Hong Kong, including CEO and board searches, succession planning and executive assessment projects. Grace has 25 years of executive search and assessment experience with two major global firms. Cheng Lin is a solo singer from China. Her first involvement in the music industry was at the age of 13 when she released the track, Little Horn. Since then she has gone onto sell 25 million albums across Asia. Cheng's latest album was 'Collaborations the album', which was produced by Grammy Award winning producer KC Porter. She studied in the United States and learned English, learning more about Western music in the process. She was the first Chinese national to have her music videos air on national television in China in the 1980s.

Dr. Wang is a senior counsel of Zhong Lun Law Firm. Mr. Wang Wei is the chairman and CEO of CDP Group. He has over 25 years of experience in business management, HCM and investment. Prior to the founding of CDP Group, Mr. Wang held multiple senior roles at leading international organizations, such as SAP America and Schneider Electric. Mr. Wang was the 3rd employee of SAP when it first expanded to the U.S. Mr. Wang also has a strong business and software engineering background with degrees from leading Chinese and overseas schools.

Jingzhou Tao serves as a Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, as a Member of the Expert Consulting Committee of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, as Chair of the Commission on International Commercial Arbitration of ICC China, and as an Adjunct Professor of Peking University Law School. He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an Arbitrator of International Court of Sport.  

Mr. Tao is recognized as an expert in international arbitration and merger and acquisition and has advised on China-related matters since 1985. 

Mr. Shawn Liu was born in 1979 Sep. in Anhui Province.  Mr. Liu had previously worked for McKinsey & Company. He joined Vanke in 2009. He was the General Manager of the Department of Strategy , Investment, Financing and Operation in 2010. He became the General Manager of Zhejiang Nandu Vanke Co., Ltd. in 2012, and the General Manager of Beijing Vanke Co., Ltd. in 2015. He is currently the Vice President of China Vanke, the CEO of Beijing Region, and the General Manager of Beijing 

Mr.Liu started his career at Exxon-Mobil and then worked in United Technologies Corp (UTC) and General Electric (GE). Dr. Liu received a variety of national and international awards, including “The Minorities in Research Award” (2006 Emerald Honors Special Recognition Award. In 2013, Dr. Ke Liu was selected to win the 2013 PITT Award. This award is to honor one individual globally each year, who has made a significant contribution to the new technologies, new procedures or new policies toward power generation, coal conversion and utilization industry, which is the “Nobel Prize of this Field”. Due to his outstanding contributions to the industry, Dr. Liu was elected as the Board Member of the former “Power, Environmental & Energy Research Center” of California Institute of Technology; and currently he is the board member of the International Pittsburgh Coal Conference Organization.

Before joining Goldman Sachs Gao Hua Securities Company Limited, Charles Cheng is Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Corporate Advisory Co., Ltd – the investment banking arm of Standard Chartered Bank in China.Over the past five years with Standard Chartered Bank, Charles has assisted a great number of leading Chinese companies to go global, to acquire the resources and know-how and expand their businesses overseas. Charles and his team have successfully worked on a number of major international acquisitions, including several landmark transactions.

Dr. Chen is Professor of finance at the School of Management at Yale University. Before joining Yale, Dr. Chen was Professor of finance at the Ohio State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. At these universities, he has taught finance courses at the Ph.D., the MBA and undergraduate levels, including Investment Theory and Practice, Theory of Finance, and Options and Futures Markets.

Eric Chen, Ph. D., is a Managing Partner, Softbank Vision Fund, the world’s largest technology investment fund which has backers including Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, Apple, and Qualcomm. The Fund has sizable investments in companies such as WeWork, Apple and Qualcomm. He is the co-founder of BaseBit Technologies, a venture backed company focused on data science for healthcare, operating in the United States and China. 

Previously, Dr. Chen was a Managing Director at Silver Lake Partners since 2008. He was one of two partners who founded Silver Lake’s Hong Kong, Tokyo and Shanghai offices, and its Asia investment and management teams. Silver Lake is the world’s largest private equity firm exclusively focused on investing in technology and technology-enabled industries, having led many large scale and influential investment cases such as Dell, Seagate, Skype, Avago, Alibaba, etc.

Prior to Silver Lake, Dr. Chen was a Senior Vice President and Executive Committee member of ASML, a global leader in semiconductor technology, headquartered in the Netherlands. Dr. Chen joined ASML following its acquisition of Brion Technologies in 2007, a high performance computing company he co-founded in 2002 and served as its CEO since inception.

Mr. Chen Jiande is the vice chairman of IMAX (Shanghai) Multimedia Technology Co., Ltd. He was the CEO of IMAX China Ltd. 

Previously he was Senior Vice President, Chief Representative and General Manager with Sony Pictures Entertainment China from 2000 to 2011. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Allied Signal (China) Holding Corp. and Vice President of Boeing China Inc. Chen Genghui is the creator of more than 30 patents of invention in biomedical fields, and he successfully hosted and lead the drug development of Bentivimod, opening up a brand new field of autoimmune diseases treatment. Before joining Beijing Wenfeng Tianji, he founded Welichem in Canada in 2000, and got listed in Canada stock market.

Mr. Fan Bao is the Chairman and CEO of China Renaissance Group. Since founding China Renaissance Group in 2005, he has led the firm to become China’s leading financial institution by identifying and partnering with innovative industry leaders in the Smart Economy. In 2015, Mr. Bao was recognized as one of the world’s “50 Most Influential” by Bloomberg Markets.
